Hello! I'm Angelica Manglona. I am currently a student at College of Charleston, majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Comparative Literature.

Born as Chamoru, I spent the first eight years of my life in Tinian, an island near Guam. I've spent the rest of my life growing up in America. Both of these experiences along with my somewhat duel identities play a major role in my fiction which you can read more about in my Creative Writings page.

Writing will always be my biggest passion and my relationship with literature has flourished ever since I picked up Hamlet in middle school. Aside from writing, my love for literature is endless and I could spend my life discussing books. Therefore, along with being a writer, I dream of becoming a professor at an upper-level academic institution. After obtaining my Bachelor's degree, I seek to expand my knowledge through a Creative Writing M.F.A. program and, then, a Ph.D. program, where I can learn how to contribute to the conversation on forms of Contemporary Literature or Creative Writing.
